Glacier National Park , Montana

We decided to do our blog this month on Glacier National Park in Montana. It was a breathtakingly beautiful place! Definitely one of my favorites from our trip in the fall of 2014. And I feel a place everyone should visit at least once. There was so much to see and we unfortunately only had two days there... and jam packed them with as much as we could. We drove half way though the park on the Going to the Sun Road (Todd was white knuckling the whole way... not a road for the faint of heart or anyone with an RV!!). The half way mark took us to Logans pass and the road was closed on the east side of the park due to construction.  We went on two hikes both approx 12 kms round trip... first one was to Hidden Lake and the second was to Grinnell Lake. Both were amazing! Apparently while we were there tons of people were seeing black and grizzly bears and the first campground we stayed at there were cougar sightings. Because we were only there for two days we didn't see any bears or cougars but we did see lots of goats and a moose on the Grinnell Lake hike which was super neat!

Beautiful photos! Impressive scenery for sure.
A wonderful post. The photography is breathtaking; inspiring . Thank you for sharing :-)
Another group of great photographs. They make me think about winter being over and that warmer temperatures are on the way.
